Don't know a ton about Westerville South.

But, a couple things that Logan accomplished in their win on Saturday. That is the first sectional championship since 2001 (they started playing in the Central in 2002). They also tied the school record for wins in a season (22).

Common Opponents: Tri-Valley (Win, 41-23; Logan win 74-38), Olentangy Orange (Loss 54-57 and Win 53-45; Logan win 65-48), St. Charles (Win 63-47; Logan win 47-42)


Played in the same division as Orange. Very competitive division with all three Westervilles and all three Olentangy schools. Also played a really tough non-conference schedule that included Gahanna-Lincoln (61-58 win), Tri-Valley (41-23- win), Pickerington Central (54-52 win), Johnstown (58-50 win), Reynoldsburg (52-61 loss), and Upper Arlington (46-66 loss).

The only "bad" loss was to at Thomas Worthington (46-49).

This should be a very good game and a very balanced game all around. Logan kids just seem to 'know how to win,' so I think it'll be close for 28 minutes and Logan pulls away the last few minutes.

Probably not a mistake. It's more on the lines of an assumption print. The Dispatch need's to pay attention a little more. The Love only spreads out so far in the area up and around there about themselves, usually in their paper and on their TV News stations. It's been very obvious since I can remember.

I was on, I think channel 10's web site about 3 years ago looking at football scores. And I noticed that the school info for Logan was all jacked up! Kelly Wolfe was still listed as the football HC and Keith Meyers was the basketball HC. The school had the old address from the hilltop... On ST RT 328. The colors were white and red. I email them a friendly email about the in-corrections and I got a email back saying they would change the info to the info I gave them. A few months later I looked to see if anything had been changed. Unsurprisingly it wasn't. So I email them again and never heard back from them.

Don't surprise me 87. They are only hurting themselves, and thousands upon thousands get the Dispatch and watch sports News on Columbus stations, and see the mistakes/assumptions. Bad for business with false News. Makes ya wonder how many Westerville South fans are actually thinking they are playing Olentangy Orange Wednesday evening?? I would bet there are some.

It would be fun and not surprising to see a South fan with a sign referencing Westerville playing Olentangy. That is if that many actually show up. When we blow them out in the playoffs years ago Logan filled the visitor side and half of the home side.

Yeah, I was there at the playoff game. It was something. The Chiefs took care of business on the field and in the stands. Westerville South was shocked, I could see it in some of their faces. SHOCK AND AWE.

I remember South students painted that on a bed sheet by the entrance to the football stadium for our playoff football game there.
