Maybe a Meigs alum with roots tied to Spring Avenue and a superior knowledge of the sport could take over?

I doubt it. My guess would be Yates or Cleland

Well there will be a PE job open next year so I would guess that's good for Coach Yates. He's have a teaching spot too.

Meigs never posts on OHSAA because they might actually get a good, qualified candidate who can’t be controlled by the clique running (ruining?) athletics at Meigs.

Any chance Matt Simpson would be interested in the position?

I don’t think so. I would think there was a better chance of him being Easterns next coach. But I don’t think Hill is leaving so their coaching staff will probably remain intact

How much did every current or former coach in the history of basketball have before their first experience? just saying
I look for them to hire someone that is not an Alumni from Meigs.

I think this is the best choice for Meigs and Eastern all together. Coach Kight could come do his thing at Eastern and Hill could move on to Meigs and try his hand there.
