They are definitely a solid team, getting the #4 seed in the D2 central district. They have Morgan Safford, a senior shooting guard who lights up the scoreboard. But, past that, I'm not sure what all they have.

Just like last year, the Chieftains finished #9 in the final AP Poll.

This should put Logan at #1 in the Hippos standings.

Bo Myers now sits on 1596 career points - an LHS boys record. In 90 career games he is averaging 17.7 points per game including a whopping 27.2 points per game this season.

I believe the Hocking County record is held by Dave Poling (Union Furnace/Starr-Washington, class of 1971) who scored 1,604 points in 79 games (20.3 per game).

Looks like he will eclipse that amount in the next game.

How many points did he score his freshman year? It will be interesting to see how his cousin, Tegan, develops over the next few years. He is showing flashes as a freshman playing JV and getting some varsity time.

Out of the teams Logan played this year 8 finished below .500. Lancaster finished the worst with a percentage of close to 24 and the Best was Pickerington at near 87%

Bo scored just 100 or 110 I believe as a freshman, he didn't play much then.

Thanks for the info 2009. I couldn’t recall how much playing time he got.

Bo played some JV . He and Coby teamed upped the first game that year at Unioto and beat their JV . It was their only loss that year . Caleb played strictly Varsity getting a lot of Quality minutes at PG and SG . Bo worked his way shortly after to Varsity only . Coby played JV and Varsity like Tegan is now .Wes ,Layton, Landon, Tyler and Dawson all played Freshman . Lots of Seniors on that team coached by Coach K. . I think there was 4 or 5 seniors on that team led by Lane Little and Isahia Smith. Just thought I would add that . Lots of experience on this 2018 -2019 Team . Sure going to miss these young men next year . Special group in so many ways . Good luck to the Purple Gang in the Post Season .

For a long time I’ve wanted to create a Basketball page for Logan. I was finally able to do that today and the site is up and running. Take a look as it is a work in progress and it will probably change frequently but there’s some good information up there now and I will try to make it continue to grow.

Bo scored 133 as a frosh.

Tegan has 27 so far this season. Tegan has a lot of potential, but he shouldn’t be burdened with the expectations to live up to Bo.

Heck, I’m pretty sure he’s already ahead of his dad at this point in their careers and Keith is still one of the all-time greats!

Was Logan during Bo’s freshman year comparably as good to what they are now?
