Is A. Music okay ? Heard that he was injured in the Gallia Academy game. Did he play the following game against Rock Hill ?

Yes he is playing. Played Rock Hill and tonight’s game against Chesapeake. Jaylen McKenzie one of the hornets other guards is out with a concussion.

Thank you! Music is a very good all around player for Coal Grove. I was told that Jaylen McKenzie was one of the reasons that the Grove was able to turn the game around, especially his defense against Oak Hill.

Great Win for the Hornets.
Good defensive effort and rebounding. Didn't shoot really well but did all the little things. Great Job by the guards handling the Ironton pressure. Nate Harmon played big on the glass.
Would love to see a few JV players step up and provide some minutes. Our trap press causes a lot of problems but team depth and or foul trouble limits that.
I am really proud of how they rebounded after the Minford loss. Sign of a mature Team.
Great fan atmosphere and great energy from the CG fans and Cheerleaders even against the Ironton complete student body. Ironton recognizing several winter sports at a Tuesday game was a nice strategy to get a big crowd. Also pretty evenly refereed game in a tough atmosphere.
