Brutal schedule ... I got to see one quarter of the Independence scrimmage, we won the quarter on a and one foul and made free throw, looked pretty solid. They have worked hard over the summer I can see the progress

... FU has an excellent coaching staff with Coach Eversole at the helm - they lost a lot of offensive punch from last season - Spencer Conrad, Luc Thompson, my Big Man in the Middle Colin Woodside - due to graduation BUT the Falcons return one of the best PG in SEOhio in Evan Conley, add to the mix their returning BIG Huston Harrah in the paint - they will be fine under the leadership of Coaches Eversole/Goodyear/Helber ... if I'm not mistaken Huston Harrah has a big/little brother who is now a freshman - not sure if he is seeing JV time or is with the freshmen group ... FU had a very good/talented JV team from last year - so I'm sure the scoring will come as the new players find their roles for TEAM FU ...

Conley and Harrah will step into bigger roles and the Falcons will compete for the MSL title again.

... I totally agree bman ... I was waiting for Huston to take a bigger scoring role LAST season - as he had/has THAT capability imo ...

And so does Conley, but the young man played very unselfishly with all the other scorers they had around the court.

FU future looks bright too this years 8th grade class has alot of talent, The MSL last year as 7th graders was tough 5 out of the 8 teams could beat each other on any given night so the MSL in the coming years looks to be pretty good , this years FU 7th grade class has some potential also but to early to tell. I think the varsity will be in the running for the MSL title I Believe Hamilton and Maybe Teays should be pretty good along with Amanda continuing to improve. Logan elm I think had all freshman last year so they will be better also. Carroll always tough too...
