Burg has wayyyyyyyy more talent, but several of the kids started late due to football. Good news is, since they didn't make the state championship game this year, they started a week earlier than they did last year.
Oak Hill gets the clear edge in the coaching department and also has a couple games under their belt. I think it'll be a very close game but Burg should win by 4-8 by the end.

Burg does have more talent but oak hill has talent people havent seen yet bc of the senior class last year. Everyone knows about Darby but Chase hammond and drew hanning are really good players. Darby bein 6"5 and a point guard and hammond bein 6"4 and a beast n the post causes teams so much problems. Add oak hills defense and oh yea norm ill take the oaks 47 to 42

Oak Hill has two players. If Burg keeps Darby and Hammond in check and keeps the ball outta the post they win big.

Going with the oaks by 6 or 8
Oaks already played 3 games, already seen teams press them, already went against a big in the post, and being at home they have the edge in this one.

Oak Hill shouldn't even be mentioned as being a top team...Burg easily even though Persins slows game to a crawl. For that reason score will seem closer than it actually is...I guess HS preseason rankings no different than College. Coach with a name gets team ranked way better than they should be...I'll pick the jimmy's and joes with an average Coach every game to come out ahead.

I'm probably really mistaken about this, but who won the SOC-2 the last couple years ? Someone said that Oak Hill won the last 2 years. I'm sure that is probably wrong though, because with your jimmy's and joes and your average Coach, that is probably not possible. Also I would guess that as soon as the OHSSA gets around to it, that they will be taking some of Oak Hills coaches 730 wins away from him because he may have slowed some of those games down. Well with OH only having 1 starter back from last year, I hope that it still might be a good ballgame. Whats really funny is that I'm not really an OH fan, But couldn't stop laughing at your post.

Vetteman the last 2 years have nothing to do with this year. And the jimmy's and Joes oak Hill had last year I'm hearing a couple or more weren't even from Oak Hill.... Oak Hill should be between 40 and 50... Just an average team..Burg will win this game and win it going away if the refs don't get intimidated by Norm...That happens all the time....Refs want Norm to love them... like he's a god or something....lol
