Luckily the Big Red don't have the 2 headed beast of Miller & Strange (80+% of their offense last season) ... looks like they put up about 20 threes per game ... were 5/19 from behind the arc vs Warren and 11/18 vs Parkersburg Catholic ...

Kionte Peacock had 27 points vs Catholic (6 triples)
Dylan Shaver 3 triples

... seems to be their 2 scorers ... looks like they played 8-9 players vs both Warren & Park.Catholic ...

I see other names that played last season on the roster - so they have varsity experience Mason, Johnson,Dudley, Potts, McKnight all had minutes vs Warren last season - are getting minutes this season ...

Catholic was a scrimmage. Big man enrolling early at Penn State for football. Will still root for the kid even though he chose Penn State over Ohio State.

... thanks for clearing that up justpassinthru - the way it is written up on the WVa website it appears as a "game" ... stats of all kinds - team and individual stats ... still some good info on the Big Red ... so they have truly ONLY played 1 game so far ? wow ... they were picked as the preseason #19 in WVA AAA size schools according to the WVa sports website I looked at ...

Good luck to the Chiefs . Logan brought home a 1 point victory last year. I look for a very competitive game at Jim's Gym tonight . Go Chiefs!

72/43 Logan if it wasn't for all the foul shots Logan could have won by 40

Could have had 4 in double figures. Bo had 26. Looked like he still has a touch of the flu. Sat during part of the warm ups and was in and out a few times.

Tonight was a manhandling by the Chiefs. Very good effort by all squads. Congrats to JV and Varsity on their wins.

9th grade could have won. had their chances. I thought I saw Angle, think that is his name on the bench the whole game.

One more side note from the game, I don't typically point out individual players. But, Bo Myers passed Patrick Angle in the first quarter last night to become Logan's third all-time leading scorer. He now has 1,191 career points, and is now 59 points behind second place all-time Mark Shaw (1,250). Coy Lindsey has Logan's record with 1,417.

Guess only two were in double figures. Seemed like more during the game.
