Hopefully my blue devils found themselves this weekend. After playing the first quarter at coal grove letting the other team dictate play. The blue devils went straight to press in second Guarneri on Saturday night they went to the press straight at opening tip. The execution of the offense was rough but when the ball went in to loveday. There was a cutter going to basket on the backside every play and a kid on the side the ball went in from setting up for a open look.
The press really opened up the offense to where they could run the court and use the athleticism. Loveday only had 15 points. He straightens out his foul shots and they get a little more accurate on there lobs and alleyops to him. He should have an opportunity to average 30 to 40 the rest of way. The question is are they committed to stick with the change.
Looking forward to Tuesday night hopefully we see more of the same.

Nice list, other than Fairfield Union being under ranked. Logan Elm is 5-5.

Actually played in that game. The person wearing it is one of my good friends. Think that he had it on when we played Meigs and Eastern Brown. Seems like forever ago.

OVC week for the Trojans @ Fairland and hosting Rock Hill, hoping we can set some momentum headed down the dtretch Go Trojans

I will be interested to see what you think of my Pirates after seeing them Live tomorrow. I'm not sure where I would have them. They are very talented and go 7-8 deep without much drop off. Same can be said of most of the top 8. Especially the top 4. I know you will give a good account of what you see tomorrow

I thought Logan Elm would've moved up after their upset of Hamilton Township but they stayed 29th

Maybe it stems from TravisHill222 pointing out all of LE's deficiencies throughout December. lolTravisHill222 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 11:59 am I thought Logan Elm would've moved up after their upset of Hamilton Township but they stayed 29th

... SOC94 ... if I'm not mistaken, 93bulldog used Photoshop and put a pic of the Purple Teletubby in my usual Cheap Seat location in the Convo LOL ... 93dog and I would give props to the mascots that found their way to the Convo supporting their schools/teams ... So you're saying that there wasa real person in the TeleTubby costume ??? go figure ! LOL

Thanks oldschoolqb13 ... and if you did have an argument "not a problem"! IF you folks have issues with the rankings it's NOTHING compared to the arguments that take place every Sunday from Noon- 4pm around pfloyd's kitchen island LOL the committee of one is hard to please I'm telling you !!! - it's hard to press that "submit" button sometimes LOL ...oldschoolqb13 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 2:06 pm Great list Floyd....can't really disagree with anything.

... you subtract a 7-1 post player from a team who has been ranked high due to the potential with said 7-1 post player on the floor ???? I hope the remaining Gallia Academy players accept the challenge, take the torch & run with it !!! ... there are some excellent basketball players remaining ON the GAHS team ! time to step up ! and as trojandave posted "next man up" ! ... I wish the remaining GAHS team the best moving forward - they keep winning they aren't dropping ... if I'm an opponent I'm NOT taking the GAHS team for granted ! THAT would be a very dangerous/serious mistake in my book with the remaining players on the Gallia Academy TEAM ...
