Warren just finds top gear in the 4th quarters. Some teams can hang close after 3, but that 4th quarter is brutal against Warren. I think it is because Maddox has them so well conditioned that they just don’t get tired. Almost like robots if you will.

This looks like a bad matchup for LE. Give up at least 2-3 inches every position and Amanda is hitting shots.

Game was 16-14 at half. 30-27 with about 2 minutes left in 3rd when Corey call got called for pushing off a call I didn’t understand. If you are going from one side of the paint to the other with your hands extended above your head. With the defenders arm in your chest. And you cross the court 3 times this way. Coach got tech foul. Call said something and got tech foul. So warren went to line and shot 4 technical foul shots then held the ball to finish the quarter then got ball to start 4th quarter. And hit a 3 the 3 point game went to ten 37-27. Blouir got hurt and removed from game a couple of minutes later and blue devils were done.
There were several fouls I didn’t understand tonight. I am not the greatest on basketball rules so I am not saying bad calls but calls I don’t understand. Like how can you be dribbling the ball at top of key the defender knock it loose you grab ball with both hands and go to bring the ball above your head. How can the official say you pushed off the kid asked if he threw a elbow or something and the ref told him he pushed the kid with the ball?
I don’t understand how you can be posting up a player and the defensive player is pushing you off your spot. And your team mate throws a errant pass in your direction so you must move forward the defender falls down toward you not away from you how did you push off.
Look Gallia charged tonight I get those calls. Corey call pushed off bad in 1st half to get open I get that call. I understood I think every foul we got called for on defense. If it was a good call or not who knows. But I did not understand some of the off the ball offensive fouls that were called. I guess I don’t understand the rules.
Warren dominated the late game though after Gallia sheaf was out of game.

Can’t get a technical in a close game like that.

... seriously ?!!! Amanda was 11-5 coming into this game ! ... Amanda IS very good, and very well coached by Coach Carpenter ...

I saw this one. Amanda played very well. They definitely have some talent.

I agree with that 92. They were not up for the mental challenge tonight and totally fell apart here.
They carried Blouir to locker room if this injury is serious the blue devils may be about done.
This is just another example that the blue devils not getting over the hump in big games. I just hope these seniors pull it together and finish strong.
Warren definitely beat them mentally. The warren coaches and players class acts and tookbthe devils innall 3 games tonight

Player-for-player, Amanda has the best and most athletic starting lineup in the league. They've been very inconsistent this season due to not playing that well defensively and not sharing the ball as consistently as they need to. This was by far their best game of the season. Amanda shared the ball very well tonight and, except for a few possessions, were solid on the defensive end. If Amanda can replicate this moving forward, they will be a dangerous team.

Travis, Logan Elm is 7-8 starting four sophomores and have one kid who breaks six-foot in its starting lineup. When Logan Elm can dictate tempo and execute its offense and defense, it can defeat good teams despite its shortcomings. When a team comes out and can't miss, like Amanda tonight or Liberty Union last week, and are taller, stronger and skilled, it's going to be tough. The kids and coaches are all working hard.
