Re: Alexander @ Oak Hill 1/29/19
Oak Hill inbounded the ball to Hammond, Terry finally came out with about 10-12 seconds to go to guard Hammond, Hammond then went around Terry and went to the basket and scored with 1.3 seconds to go. Other than mayby a 4 or 5 pt lead in the 1st Qtr, I think that was the only lead of the game for Alexander. The Spartans hit a 3 to tie the game late. OH lead by as many as 8 pts 4 or 5 different times. The Spartans hit quite a few 3's to keep them in the game. Not second guessing anyone, but if Alexander had pressed and pressured OH earlier than just the 4th Qtr, it may have been a different outcome. Great game to watch, big crowd, exciting finish.

I may be off, but I think he hit at least 6 3's. They were not cheap 3's either. He wasn't the only one hitting 3's. Again I'm just guessing, but if he was No-3, I would say he ended up with around 25-26 pts. Other than terry, I didn't know the other kids names.

The more I thought about it, No-3, I don't know his name, probably even had more than I said, as I know he also went to the basket a few times, as well as the foul line. Oak Hill had no answer for him on defense.
Re: Alexander @ Oak Hill 1/29/19
I knew he had a couple baskets, plus he shot a couple foul shots. They didn't really play through him that much, but the way they were hitting 3's, mayby they didn't think they had to. I will have to say that Chase Hammond and Mason Darby played pretty tough defense on him also. Alexander is a fine team, not taking anything away from them. Matchups are the key in most games, and even though the Spartans shot the 3 very well, and OH was having trouble with No-3, I think that if Mason Darby had not picked up 2 ticky-tack fouls in the first 4-5 min of the 1st Qtr, I'm not sure that the Spartans had anyone capable of stopping him from going to the basket.
