Would play #4 seed Olentangy Liberty in District Semis

#6 seed Hilliard Davidson in Finals possibly
Very tough bracket. The toughest according to 270 Hoops.

So odd to see Portsmouth this far down the list. It is definitely earned! There have been so many terrible loses
this season, you just can not loss at home by 30 points!
The post season will be a short one, I am afraid.
Hopefully next season we can have players step up and learn how to shot
better, rebound better and, IMO, remember they are Trojans!
Btw, is PHS division 3 or 4?
Having said this, Go Trojans

Trojans have potential to win sectional or lose to West. Unpredictable.

... it's ALL fun - from traveling to the games, seeing MANY different teams from ALL of the divisions Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line in ALL corners of the SEO district ... to meeting the players families, coaches, fans from the different schools from ALL corners of the district - the peoples make it all worth doing ... I don't even mind the disagreements on SEOPs - I've been wrong before, will be wrong again and again and again BUT when I post I DO believe what I post IS correct LOL ... thank you for reading the Elite 8 AND providing info, feedback ... one more week of rankings before the post season takes over ! ...

Fairland no #6 in my opinion...which means nothing.....Ironton and Coal Grove are much better...Gallia, Chesapeake, and SP just as good...I don't know what Portsmouth's problem is. I think they have more talent than Every OVC team.....

Fairland is 10-1 vs Ironton/Coal Grove/Gallia/Chesapeake/South Point/Portsmouth with PHS @ PHS up next ... 11-1 in the OVC as a whole 1.5 game lead over Ironton whom they have beaten twice ... the South Point loss was in the 0-3 stretch over the holiday's ... 2 losses to D1 Dublin schools on the road Dec 28,29 ... a 2 point loss to my #5 Eastern Pike in game 2 of the season ... #6 is a good ranking for the Dragons compared to the other teams I have seen - a great season so far - @ Portsmouth Tuesday/home vs Rock Hill Friday to close out the regular season for FHS ...

Yeah you're probably right pfloyd ...I know SP is their only loss in OVC and that was because SP got up on them by 28 points early and had to hang on..They just don't impress me.. I think Ironton is best OVC team.... I've seen them all more than once for most part....Portsmouth is the OVC team that has really underachieved I think. I know their young. That team has talent!!! Their going be hard to handle next couple years if they stay healthy.

Fairland vs Alex (possibly) in a sectional game? Man that Jackson side is tough.

... I have to look closely at the Logan/Southeastern/Jackson sectionals to see the matchups ... then I will decide ... I'm a visual person - need to put everything down on paper so I can see the who, when & where before deciding ... can't go wrong at any one of the 3 locations !

Pfloyd,
The evening of 02/22 in Logan should be awesome!
LE/Athens @6 then Warren/Vinton @ 8:30
4 very well coached teams with big fan bases, can’t wait for this night!

Pfloyd likes a good drive. Surley won't watch games in his neighborhood would he?
