Washington without Porter and Leisure who were hurt Tuesday at Fairfield. They should be back Saturday.

Grandview Heights pretty darn good.

Grandview Hts is familiar with missing players. The Bobcats were without guard Cincione for the first 11 games with an injury and Lachey for 6 games with an illness. Hope the Blue Lions get to return on Saturday and Good Luck the rest of way.

In case anyone is curious, Luke Lachey of Grandview Heights is indeed the son of Jim Lachey.

We played a jv game tonight with 7:00 quarters and a varsity game with 11 players.

11. That’s all we had available.

5 went the distance in the jv game
We had 2 of the 6 varsity players on the bench in case.

6 for the first 3 quarters of the varsity game. Then in the 4th we got the starters out of there a few at a time.

Thank goodness for the 5 quarter rule.

Makes me sick all these injuries at the wrong time! Not a thing a coach can do about it. I don’t like it one bit.

They are DIV 3, and were very close to being D4.

They are in the Columbus 1 District which goes to the Bowling Green Regional. They are the 6th seed in a district that includes #2 Worthington Christian, #3 Johnstown Monroe, and #5 Fairbanks. An absolutely loaded district.

I played against Coach Corbett- he'll be a HOF'er.
