All JV games have 2man crew in SE
? I hardly saw any
I apologize. I should have said all JV games I saw had 2man

SOC and OVC are about the only leagues left running 2 man for F/JV games.

... got this in a PM ... "The SE District picked up a 10th official in the Regionals in both Boys and Girls. One official on each side (boys and girls) has to work with a split crew. OHSAA policy is that all state and regional crews work 2 games together before their regional and state assignments. In all the SE District used 40% more officials this year in the Boys and Girls tournaments. In exchange for the two who worked on that crew the other night two SE officials worked a District game in the SE. in all 14 SE officials worked in the Central District Tournaments ... " hope this helps with some insight into the "why" ...

I was at Miller earlier this year and they had a JV game with 2-man; but... really, it would be more apt to call it “1.25-man”, as the one just stood at one baseline and barely ever moved. Didn’t even attempt to be a true “trail” on the transition, half-butting any attempt to cross half-court!
