At the shootout The Peake played 2 seniors, 4 juniors and 2 sophomore.
Knew one was leaving but the other was just days before shootout which was a big surprise. Give you more info but in private.
Coach Davis always says We will play with what we have. Have a lot of speed and some shooters, good defense but rebounding will be a key.
... peake71, what kind of size does CHS has left ? losing Hutchison 6-4ish and 6-5 in Archer (Archer was well on his way to becoming one of the BEST in SEO - going to miss watching the young man play in the paint for CHS) ...

Josh Cox in the middle at 6-3, 6-4 rest from 5-9 to 6 ft. Have a soph. who played jv has grown to about 6-3 but have to see how he comes along. We will be quick with Jackson, Dearth, Grimm, Cox(younger brother of Josh), Blankenship (starter as a freshman) and Caldwell, Lemley and possible Taylor from jv. Lot of time til season. They are at Huggins camp this week. Middle school there last week.
They are playing at Marshall the 20 and 21.

... the cupboard "ain't" empty ! AND the peake has Coach Davis courtside ! THAT in itself will go a long way in righting the ship ... Archer is the BIG loss and I am assuming his departure was the surprise before the shootout ... I wish him luck BUT Chesapeake will get it done on the court, focus is on melding the TEAM , moving on , moving forward ... looking forward to seeing this group with Blankenship as the floor general ...
