1979: 21-1 Tri-State Athletic Conference Champions
1987: 22-3 Ohio-Kentucky Athletic Conference Champions
1988: 27-1 Ohio-Kentucky Athletic Conference Champions
1989: 21-4 Ohio-Kentucky Athletic Conference Champions

Portsmouth has also made 15 state appearances in boys basketball, winning state titles in Class AA in 1931 and 1961 (both big school class), Class AA in 1978, and Division 2 in 1988. The 15 state appearances rank tied for 3rd all time in Ohio.
