Matthew Fraulini (6-2) of Portsmouth averaged 17 PPG his junior season, and this year looks to top that figure. A key to that will be if he can get enough scoring support around him. No doubt Matthew has the skill package to play at the collegiate level, as he is one of the better perimeter shooters in the SE district. He also played PG at times for the Trojans last season, and has shown the ability to be a competitive rebounder as well.

My Peebles Indians will be as strong as ever, and will have a deep bench. I'm so looking forward to this years team hitting the hardwoods. Coach has some surprises for the competition.

Evan Byrd will be the best player in Ohio this year.

I'm going with Russell and Massie from Federal Hocking. Hopefully Massie picks up where he left off his freshman season, after taking last year off. I'm predicting the Lancers to finish in the top 3 of the TVC Hocking.

Weston Browning, senior year. He will have the green light to score this year. He can create his own shots and will be our mvp .Peebles will have Seniors that had playing time last year. Juniors : Mills at 6'5" guard/ forward,Burba 6'2" guard ( who was hurt last year during the tournament run)forward,Wesley @6'5" center/ forward , senior ,Ruckle 6'2" forward Guard and a slew of other Juniors and seniors. Depth won't be a problem.

Matthew Fraulini of Portsmouth is 280 points shy of the coveted 1,000 points. If and when he joins that exclusive club, he will be the 9th player in PHS history to officially reach that milestone. Last year, as the Trojans struggled to score, Matthew did not have a offensive supporting cast and at times was double teamed. He still averaged 17 PPG, and scored a school record 46 vs. Rock Hill last season.
