Piketon appears better than I expected them to be. I’m not sure either team they beat is very good, but I saw that they hit 10 3’s tonight after playing lockdown defense yesterday, showing that they can win in different styles.
Both teams were not very good, but 2-0 is 2-0 no matter how you shake it. Winning games you should probably win is definitely not always easy to do for young teams especially this early in the season. Good start for the streaks and the league. SE with the only loss and it was to a really good Glenwood team that many are picking as a regional contender.
Good weekend. I watched SE lose by 21- Wkkj had them losing by 20 and Sportszone had them beaten by 18- I figure by Thursday, we may just win the game. Making it a perfect weekend for the SVC. Should be a pretty balanced league.

Haha. I seen stats from ZT game in 4 places. Evans points were different in every one. They were 22 23 25 26

SE hung in that game longer than I thought. Good or them

Not a bad showing though

I feel a lot of the SE district is down but SVC is not. Might be a lot of small upsets in league play. Maybe half the league to the Convo

I thought SE competed for a while . We don't have many opportunities against D-4 schools, I know they are good but we need to take advantage of the teams we can physically compete with. We do return 3 starters that have improved and a year older, with the addition of a transfer that had to sit the first half last year and he played really well, we should compete most nights. Hopefully they continue to get better throughout the season.

Piketon lost another close one tonight to Gallia. Chandler scores 24 in the loss. He continues to get better each week. Very impressed with his numbers so far in the early season. He’s gonna be a good one

Adena - Could be dangerous to ZT but need to see who will step up to replace Fout as he was a clear leader last year.
Unioto/Piketon/PV/WF - Any order you want. All have holes I expect them to beat up on each other.
SE - Young with potential with a new coach should be interesting to see how they develop.
Huntington - Experience will be the issue with them but its always tough to play on their court.

Good luck to all the teams.
ZT had a couple close calls last year. They could run the table again this year but I think Unioto and Adena are giving them all they can handle. IMO the top 3 in Adena Unioto ZT are light years from the bottom 5. Huge separation after the top 3.
As I said Adena might have the combination to do this. The problem I have with Unioto is they do not have the go to player on their team when they need a big bucket. What can make them good also is why they seem to have issues getting over the top. Lots of players who are very similar in skill level but no one that is "the guy". Light years might be the biggest overstatement I have seen on this thread. I like your passion but sometimes you say things that are somewhat out of touch because of your passion for your son and team. That being said, good luck to them and we will see where it all plays out.
This didn’t age well. Sorry, been holding onto this one !!
