Untill Hiland loses more games ,they are in top ten in my opinion. Peebles not there yet I don't think, but ; they are close.two more weeks and we will all see what we have.

Peebles has played some good schools, but; they have to take care of business against some pretty good D4,D3 and D2 squads the next couple of weeks. Go Indians.

If I had to pick today who I think is the best team in each Division and who I'd pick as the odds on favorite to win it all..... I'd take:

D1 - Moeller..... 2nd best odds St. Edward's with the sleeper being Columbus South

D2 - SVSM or Trotwood an even 50/50 split... Lutheran East as the sleeper who was D4 just a few years ago, now D2

D3 - Ottawa Glandorf.... slight gap then Harvest Prep.... slight gap then Deer Park

D4 - Richmond Heights....... then it's pretty wide open.. I'd go with Berlin Hiland, Antwerp, and possibly even Columbus Grove who has been fantastic this season.

I don't think you can ever count out Akron St.Vincent St.Mary or Cleveland Villa-Angela St.Joseph, regardless of what their records are. They normally play very tough schedules, and have quite often lost 6-7 games heading into the tournament and no where to be seen in the AP rankings.

Saw New Boston for the first time vs. Wellston, and the Tigers have a very good team. Good size, depth, shooters, ballhandlers, some quickness, and unselfish play. I think last year's run to the regional final may prove to be very helpful in this year's tournament. They've had some close games in this year's regular season, and that should help also.

Best of luck to all schools the next few weeks. Glad the area is being looked at. Let's represent well.

New Boston that strong ? #1 in the state ? I've seen the good ole boys network do marvels in the voting in d4 in girls softball turning the poll into a joke .. but maybe they are that good , thats why I ask .
