Fairfield just put it on them. I didn’t see it coming. So much talent on New Boston. Fairfield always competes. Not a well known SE district school but very good in several sports.

Surprising as they played a tough schedule for a D4 team but I think their best win was vs 9 or 10 win Hillsboro. They lost to Whiteoak 49-31 in a game at FF.

Fairfield has a lot of games over 70 points this season but teams that have sat down and guarded them have had good success.

Huge program win and they are strong in years to come as mentioned.

FF,Whiteoak,North Adams ,Peebles will all be tough in next few years.lower grades bringing up some great players.

FF' s kids have been playing together since they were 5th graders. They know each other's every move. That translates to good team chemistry. Build from the ground up.

Congrats to another SHAC team! After watching NB at Northwest in the Sectional final I knew their tourney run was going to be shorter than they wanted. Didn't seem to be playing good team ball.

This is why we play the games. If it were merely a matter of numbers you could run them through a computer and have a winner. It's strategy, chemistry, determination, and sometimes plain ol luck. Congratulations NB on a fine season.

Never like to see anyone pile on a team, especially after just getting beat, so this is not my intent at all. Also as far as that goes, I was really wanting New Boston to win. In watching them a couple times this year, and also seeing some of there scores throughout the season, I may be wrong but it always seemed to me as if they always enjoyed playing offense, but not so much on defense. Regardless, they still had a great season, and they should be pretty good again next year.

It's amazing how jealous ppl are that New Boston had a great year. Just so everyone knows we are proud of our kids they got beat by the better team tonight. But for a bunch of adults to pike on them is sad. Congrats Leesburg good luck moving forward
