Unioto (1-4) in the top 10 in D2? I know what the explanation might be, but just don't see it. I'd probably have Gallia Academy a couple of notches higher as well.

Watched Unioto last night. Lacking right now. Young team though.

Peebles should be probably in the mid 40s right now.

I think you omitted Sheridan in your D2 rankings

I know it’s early and will sort itself out….but Washington is getting a lot of credit for a team not playing well consistently. They are top 5 talent but IMO haven’t earned top 5 rankings.

They are 7-1….a lot of W’s for sure. They weren’t a top 5 looking team vs Jackson, they certainly weren’t against #56 McClain in OT by 1 on a couple missed put backs. The Chillicothe W looking less and less impressive. Wilmington is a struggle.

Fairfield only 3-0 but we’re great in winning at Washington, completely dismantled #25 Whiteoak (who easily beat Hillsboro) and then ran Eastern Brown off the court.

Watching Lynchburg Clay….their results are better than I expect each game. We’ll see if they can keep that going

Unioto isn’t there yet, but besides last night, they have been in tight games at Miami Trace (5-0), at Washington (7-1) and at Paint Valley (5-0). They are very young and I think they’ll be closer to that top 10 after the calendar flips to 2023

I completely agree about Gallia. I think they are one of the better teams in the SE District regardless of division.

Thanks for all that you do, pfloyd! I went through the illness a couple of weeks back and totally understand how you feel.

Hope to see you at a game soon!

I’d have to have Circleville above Adena, just based off of head to head. Although they are obviously close since it went to double OT lol

Only 10 undefeated teams out of the 71 teams Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... 9 teams without W's through the first 2 1/2 weeks of action ... teams with keys players out with injury who will be different ball clubs on player(s) returns - Warren(Trent Taylor)/ Logan Elm (Tanner Holbert/Baker/Sabine) / Logan (Max Black) come to mind ...

As a Dragon guy, I can honestly say that Gallia has a chance to run the table. Avoid injuries and etc and they will not lose many games.

I like the new way of rankings, pfloyd.!! Really looks good.
Perhaps one day my Oaks will move up in the rankings once again

Don't forget that 1000mgs of Vitamin C...it will help get rid of that crud...

Always enjoy reading your rankings....take care.
