Meigs is 10 spots behind a team they just beat on the road, while being down a starter??

I feel much better about Unioto after yesterday than at any other point in this season so far. Obviously would have preferred a win, but the balance and competitiveness were both up several levels than I had seen previously.

… I agree, they had 3 in double figures, 8 players get in the scoring column … perimeter scoring from BOTH Newton and Blake Hoops to go with Schobelock… down the road teams can’t work on TAKING away Schobelock- will need to respect others on the perimeter as well … lots of good things in the loss last night …

We shall see what kind of competition Parkersburg and Bloom Carroll are this year as I know little about either team. Before the season I would've thought some of the teams we've faced so far would've been good competition or at least make the games interesting but that's simply not been the case. Besides their loss to Linsly they've put a running clock on everyone in all 6 of their wins.

South Point probably not top 3 in the OVC, much less the district.

Portsmouth is the best OVC team I’ve seen with Ironton and Fairland close behind. South Point can beat any of them but aren’t nearly as deep.

… the OVC will be a “gauntlet “ every night in the OVC … the winner will have multiple league losses/ injuries will play a role all season as well … 4 OVC teams in the top 15 teams in the SE district … opens the door for movement in the top 15 / Elite 8 rankings …

I love how competitive most of the conferences seem to be this season. No absolute runaways by the looks of it right now

I’ve only watched 3 of top 8 and have watched more than once. I couldn’t tell you how to arrange the whole top 8 but Webster is definitely better than burg.

The Peake did drop down and Meigs moved, but pfloyd looks at all the scores to determine his ranking. Also Meigs is ranked higher than Gallia who beat Meigs and was beaten by The Peake at Gallia.

Which was the first game of the year against Gallia. And I know that he looks at all the scores. But 10 spots is a big difference when Meigs was up and controlled the entire game at peake. And to be behind a below 500 Adena who lost to peake by double digits. Peake is also ahead of new lex when I do not agree with that. Peake is getting the benefit of being in the OVC and being ranked high initially.

Pfloyd rankings are what he has done for years. I am sure if someone else wanted to put there ranking of teams on here he wouldn't care. All the time and effort he puts in says alot about his love of basketball. There will always be a difference of opinion. I enjoy them and wish my team would be ranked higher but season is early and the Peake has 3 games this week. So hopefully that can bring the ranking up.
