Yes they have a good record, but there on the list and West isn't, West beat New Boston by 10 and went on the road to get a SOC win.

Westfall 3-0 SVC
MSL
Circleville 4-2
Logan Elm 3-2
Fairfield Union 5-3

Some tough ballgames this week here in the "Northwest Territory".

Westfall - vs. Piketon, Tuesday, @ Huntington, Friday.
Logan Elm - vs. Circleville, Tuesday, @ Canal Winchester, Saturday.
Circleville - @ Logan Elm, Tuesday, vs. Fairfield Union, Saturday.
Fairfield Union - vs. Bloom-Carroll, Tuesday, @ Circleville, Saturday.

I was down with a nasty bug for most of this week but I look forward to getting back on the beat and checking out some good ball.

Ironman- I somewhat appriciate it, LOL. They are about 1 possession per game from being 5-1, but they aren't. 0-6, but things did look much better on Friday(@Westfall) than on Tuesday(Jackson)

I wouldn't be upset if they drop off, especially if they keep dropping games. The fact that they have been so close is a good thing for us Sherman fans though. 3 Returning letterwinners, 1 wasn't at Unioto last year and the other 2 didn't get all that much PT last year. The JV team was bad last year too, which means, hardly any of those kids know how to win. I'm guessing that once they get one, things will get much easier for them.

Tuesday they play at Southeastern, if they drop that, they won't win a game before the new year, IMO. But, if they win it, they could go into the new year at 3-6.

bman- What was the score of the Westfall game last night? Anybody have a big night for them?

Cobb, Boring, Hardin, and Keller all impressed me against Unioto on Friday night.

Not positive on that score without looking it up again

Thanks! Last I looked it just had Westfall with the W beside it, LOL.

Look for Westfall to have a lot of success this season, they are a bunch of winner and ridiculous athletes. Although, having Teays Valley, Circleville, and Logan Elm on the non-league schedule isn't fun for anyone.

Imo the top 3 are "cemented" but it is something like this:

1-2)Zanesville-Chillicothe(interchangeable, but Pfloyd has it right seeing as how Zanesville has handled their business EVERY game)

3)Vinton County( no one other than the top two are in the same league as V.C. but V.C. is not in the same league as Chilly or the Ville)

4-?)Everyone else.(not even worth listing with the other's)

Come tourney time, there will be a few schools in SE Ohio that just may put a scare in your top three - they are not that untouchable. Anyone can have an off night and find themselves out of a single elimination tourney (See McClain last year).
