I like your top six, hard to go wrong with any of these teams. Some great games this week will tell us more about the teams.LE/Chesapeake, Warren/ Portsmouth to name a few, pfloyd will be busy this week. I image you will be getting a first hand look at Chillicothe as they play your Logan team. I thought from what I watched over the summer that Waverly was an elite 8 team this week should be a test for them. As always great job pflyod and I enjoy your napkin stats. Look forward to the napkin stats in the Chill/Logan game tomorrow.

Grinder, I will have a full wrap-up of the Logan vs Chillicothe matchup after the game tomorrow night ... imo's , napkin stats, names etc. LOL ... need to see the Zac Johnson/Malik London combination for the Cavs!!! ... Logan had a good outing on the road vs 3-1 Newark ... the Purple shot 50% from the field, 5/13 from beyond the arc, LHS out rebounded Newark 26-19 , the GAME CHANGING NUMBER was Logan's 23 TOs (tough to win on the road when you miss opportunities to score on 23 trips down the floor) ... Chiefs are young, showed major improvement between game one vs Bloom Carroll and game #2 vs Newark on the road ... looking for more "learning/On the Job Training" to take place vs Chillicothe - should be fun to watch for sure !!! ...

Hamilton Township lost by 27 to Amanda and it could have been much worse. Chillicothe should cruise past the Hambone on Saturday.

I think Valley will crack the top 8 in the near future...they had Ironton down in the 4th and tripped...Indians will make a little noise soon.

No no pfloyd please take my Cavs off the top spot it will surely jinx them..LOL As of right now the only Achilles heel the Cavaliers have is too many TO's in this young season...the skies the limit for this team minus the TO's..Zach Johnson has been a monster thus far as well as Malik with his presence in the middle,he makes players think twice about shooting in the lane...Cavs travel to Logan tonite, then on to Jackson and Hamilton Twp to end out the week..one game at a time...Go Cavs!!!

I'll go with 4 1/2. Chesapeake, Chillicothe, Ironton, and Portsmouth seem like the top 4 teams, but just like in college hoops, you could see upsets and an upstart jump in there for a week or two.

Pfloyd, As always great work with the rankings and the napkin stats. Logan played lights out in the first frame and well into the 2nd. Sloppy but great contest for Most of 3 quarters. London just changes the game by giving nothing up in the paint. My unofficial stats have the Chieftains Getting outscored 48 to 20 in the paint. Game, Set, Match. The Chieftains were raining 3 balls early on, but those turned into misses later and fast breaks for the Cavs.

One other note, I have London with 12 rebounds with 4 on the offensive glass.

Pfloyd enjoyed reading you napkin stats as always. Sounds like your Logan team played a good game and hung right with Chillicothe. I heard the Ironton/Waverly, Southern/South Gallia and Federal Hocking/Eastern were all great games as well. I am a bit surprised at Manchester's early play with their next game against an improved North Adams team. Also saw where Eastern Pike played a pretty good game against a good Minford team. What is your gotta see game for the weekend?

... thill2010 ... you are absolutely right! BC vs FU should be a great matchup Friday night ... a BIG question mark is whether Fairfield Union PG Barr will be back on the floor ... without the floor general Barr Coach Brusco's boyz fall to McGlone/ Ireland/ Watts/ Schmitz /James & Co. ...

Portsmouth @ Warren , South Webster vs Oak Hill, Vinton County vs Wellston , Huntington WVa vs Ironton ALL fit in the Great Matchup category this Friday night ...
