At 4-2 Im very happy with the Trojans. Hope we can maintain this run....If I remember correctly it was post Jan 1 when the Trojans of 09 began thier slide. I just dont see Geno letting that happen again

Leesburg Fairfield is 4-4, other than that the list is great. Look foreward to watching the Eastern Brown and Peebles game.

Should be an exciting game, could go either way.

I think what buckeyefan means is that if ur going to put Hillsboro as 2-5 on ur list then fairfield needs to be 4-4...or thats what im getting out of it

wipalawalt ... thanks ! - it IS good to see the support posters have for their team(s) every week ... you're right - THE LIST - seems to keep everyone focused on where teams stand compared all other teams Below the Line ... don't know how the student athletes view the Elite 8 but it does give us Cheap Seat folks a way to follow ALL the teams in Southern / Southeastern Ohio ...

Tiny D4 Fairfield is playing some nice D2 teams....could be a team to watch in the D4 tourney....though the SOC coaches will make sure Fairfield, Whiteoak and Manchester all play each other.

Is the Marietta at Logan game still on for tonight? Gallipolis-Ironton is still on along with Chillicothe at Portsmouth. Jakson at Warren Local is postponed and reset for Jan.26.

Burg has won the state
Portsmouth has multiple state championships...was 1978 the best?
The undefeated 1996 North Adams team that was 25-0 and beaten on a shot after the buzzer in state semis....then buzzer team wins championship by 10

Any conversation about the all time top 8 in the SE District has to include the Portsmouth Trojans.......4 time state champion........1931, 1961, 1978, 1988.

Ironman92: Wheelersburg has never won the state.......they were runnerup in 1984 and 1995......and have made it to the Final 4 in 1982, 1989, 2006, and 2007.

I think PFloyd's top 8 of all time should reflect the same time period as the elite 8. Basically since he's been doin the top 8...just my idea on the matter...lol. And i think a state championship should bump you up ahead of any other teams.
