Pfloyd, did not know you were going to be in attendance. Coach Stiverson told me you were at the game afterwards. I'll be at the purple palace next week for the LE vs. Athens tournament game. I'll be taking pictures on the baseline of LE - red shirt, black pants - if you are there. Stop by and say hi.

You saw a good defensive game between the Tigers and Braves. The Tigers are starting to look like a mirror of the Braves. Both need to get their offenses going a little better.

pfloyd........The FU train has officially fallen off the tracks this last part of the season. Its hard to watch after the promising start. They will end up under .500, worse then last year and will again bow out in the first round of the tourny IMO. I know you think highly of Coach Brusco and hopefully he`ll eventually turn the program around but it will be a while. Hopefully the admin will allow him the time.

FU is having a tough second half, but I do believe they got a good draw for the first tourney game against VC. Hang in there.

Suddenly something has taken away my desire to attend the sectional drawings.

So, we went from parking cars & back-scratchin duty - to only taking cash now .... ? lol

Talk about moving fast ... At this rate, we'll be arrving in a Limo next year, put up in a 5-star hotel and given a couple of cozy recliners to sit in as the seeding process unfolds.

bman ... I know Fairfield Union has been struggling a little down the stretch - but Vinton County hasn't been 'beating the doors off'' opponents either ... Heard on the radio last night that forward L.B. Remy has been battling a knee injury and was limping in the 4th quarter versus NY ... That would be a huge blow, the Vikings have a nice 3-headed monster with Chesser, Kidd & Remy - if he isn't 100% - it really hurts their chances of advancing to the Convo.

93Bulldog, I believe VC would similar record wise to FU if they had FU's schedule and vice versa. FU and I also think VC have the ability to jump up and bite when they are on. Should be an interesting contest.

Sheridan led the entire game, led the game by 17 with 2+ minutes in the game and MH showing no fight at all. so coach emptied the bench. MH all the sudden went crazy (press/steal/3 ball or fouled) .......was the craziest thing I've ever seen. It all happened so fast! 17 point lead went to 2 points in about 90 secs. Coach had to put starters back in for the last 30 secs... MH actually had a missed shot at the buzzer for the tie!

SHS scoring notes: 2/14: Horsley-31 (16 rbs), Freville-10, Helser 6, King-5, Foltz/Reichly/Russell - 2
2/15: Horsley-27/7, Russell-13, King-7, Fisher-4, Freville-3, Leavitt/Reichly - 2

Wow, I think I would have waited a couple of possessions and than put my starters back in with instructions to press full court and take the ball to the basket as aggressively as you can.

Why in the world would MH leave their starters in being down that much in the 4th quarter? lol The next time someone complains about running up the score, remember this game! The Sheridan coach called off the dogs and it almost cost him! lol
