One and done season is just around the corner. This is my favorite time of the year. This is where all the hard work and preparations pay off for a few that are lucky enough to make it to Columbus. Good luck to all ,but I hope my Indians get a little more luck. Whoever moves on I'll be rooting for them. Toss it up and let play ball.

Ports 64 Peake 55 final

Portsmouth Trojans with a HUGE win tonight handing Chesapeake their first home loss to sweep the Panthers in both regular season games. Ky"re Allison continues to put points on the board finishing with 27 points a few assist and a couple big rebounds. Kendall Renolyds had 14, Eathan Leanord 13 and Reese Johnson had at leasr 9 , hitting two 3s and also bumping and fighting tooth and nail with Meadows down in the paint Johnson has really stepped up to help out with the rebounds and defense to take over from losing Alex Dickerson from last year , and when we can get 8 to 10 points out of him it will help the team a lot.

Trojan Defense has really stepped up and played very well in the last few games , and this is the beat time of year to start playing, hats off to the coaches it took a few games to figure out who was going to be our other two starters and we finaly have about 4 kids that can come off the bench and be a factor.

good luck to Peake , not sure of their points but Cole Webb can shoot the lights out from deep, and we all know how good Rhoades and Meadow is .

Next up for Portsmouth is Ironton at Portsmouth this Tuesday.

Unioto wins going away at Paint Valley 82-51 to extend their regular season win streak to 51 games. PV's Dylan Swingle scored 23 and also draining a 65 footer to end the 1st quarter.

Unioto was led by Brandon Kennedy with 19, Peyton Hill scored 17 off the bench, Bubba Wheeler added 11. Trey Ivey dressed for the first time tonight and scored 2 in his debut. All 11 players scored tonight for the Shermans and I believe 4 of the 5 starters didn't play a second in the 4th, getting some much needed rest for their showdown with the Blue Lions tomorrow night.

Rockets should make a strong bid to be in top 25.

I predict Wellston will end up 15-7. Wellston plays like a team right now. Wellston vs Alexander should be a good game
