... due to their league affiliation with the TVC the foreign Wahama WVa team is being ranked ... the White Falcons are awaiting word on their "basketball visa" at this time ... this will bring the total number of teams being ranked to 72 ... Wahama is on a 4 games win streak, with their last "W" a home victory over Federal Hocking 62-59 ...

I like seeing my Eagles moving up another spot this week..they have a very challenging week ahead. Symmes Valley comes to Beaver on Tuesday, then a tough weekend follows with a trip to Sciotoville on Friday which is always tough and go to play a very good Zane Trace team on Saturday..going to be a fun week!

... futurebkstar - that's the plan for Tuesday night ... take care of my scans by early afternoon at OSU Medical Ctr. , trek down RT 23, to the Appalachian Highway, make my way over to the Eagles nest - are there 3 games or just 2 games ?

... I will definitely introduce myself should the plan hold up, and I make it to the game - right now I should be there with Mrs. Floyd ...

I look forward to meeting you. Some of your post got me through some rough times during Logan's health issues. Thanks so much

LOL!

Good stuff, Floyd.

After traveling to Wahama, I got the full understanding of how close they actually are to Ohio. Once you cross the bridge (which really is lit up in purple, its one of the craziest bridges I have ever seen ... lol) you're immedietly at the entrance to Wal-Mart ... which BTW is actually POMEROY'S WAL-MART (figure that one out) ... the high school sits on the hill right next to it ... if Wal-Mart was to annex the adjoining lot to which the school sits on - and the Wal-mart belongs to Pomeroy - then Wahama would be in no need of a so called basketball visa ... lol

In regards to their team: Wahama offers an intresting match-up because they have two 'POINT-FORWARDS' in their line-up... most teams don't even have one type of player that fits that bill ... Hunter Bradley is 6-foot-4 and Trenton Gibbs, who scored 26 versus Fed Hock last night, is around 6-foot-3 ... both can handle the ball (Bradley is pretty much their PG), they both shoot well from the outside - and they can post up underneath the basket. While you focus your defense to stop these two players, especially their drive-penetration to the basket, you lose sight of Austin Jordan (who is their 3-point specialist) ... Federal Hockng obviously had a hard time stopping this kind of '3-prong attack' and were flat out beaten by it last night.

We'll have the Logan at Athens game on 970 WATH ... Logan listeners beware however ... with 93Dog on the mic - who knows what kind of hatred for the purple will make its way to the airwaves.

I had been wondering when that comment was coming ... lol

ATHENS vs LOGAN

I hate to say this Floyd, but the Chiefs have a lot on their plate matching up with a pretty big Athens team ... just so you know, BIG JIM REDD is not walking through that door Tuesday night at McAfee Gymnasium ... COLE RESSLER won't be their to box out and grab rebounds ... its gonna be up to this years Chieftain team to contend with the 6'4 Elmore, 6'3 Burrow, 6'3 Watson and 6'4 Adam Leuhrman.

... my Purple will have to show a lot more than they have of late ... it will take a near flawless game by the Chiefs at McAfee to be in this one at the end ... be kind on that broadcast 93dog LOL ...

Minford still below Miami Trace? Surprising.

Fed Hock over Zane Trace....didn't they need a buzzer beater to beat a struggling Eastern team?

1. I really dislike biased announcers. Remember, you are supposed to be "neutral". ;-)

2. I invoke the 93Dog catch-all clause and now submit that East Clinton, Clinton-Massie, London and Madison-Plains should be ranked because the SCOL consists of 50 percent SE District membership - WCH, MT, Hillsboro and Greenfield.

2. The MSL-Buckeye may soon be going to four SE District members, so I will insist on inclusion for all eight of our schools then. Especially since we are including teams from down under who will never play at the Convo in the tournament unless Ohio annexes Mason.
1) I try to be neutral ... but come on, this is Logan - my only true rival that dates back 25 years; give or take a few ... lol

2) "IF" the MSL sends 4 to the southeast district - that is only 4-out-of-8 ... and the last I time checked - that equals 50% ... I believe the by-laws state "OVER" 50% ... lol ... this could end up being a sticky situation with intense litigation taking place ... I'm curious to see how dictator Floyd handles it

I92 ... Its not surprising to see Eastern play Fed Hock tough. Seniors on the Eagles played for Howie - so you know the motivation is their to beat him. Plus, the Lancers have not played well since Carney hurt his ankle and had to sit out the 2nd half against Belpre ... He still wasn't moving very well versus Wahama last night and ended up sitting the bench quite a bit ... but I'm not sure who I would have furthur up the list, seems ZT and FH are pretty close together no matter where you place them.

I do find all of the purple in the Logan gym a little obnoxious, so never mind. ;-)

The dictator may order you to hook up a few plows and go over West Virginia's poorly defended border to annex the greater Mason area for Ohio and the SE District.

I do have you guys on the SCOL for next year when Chilli comes aboard - 5/7 and then 5/8 the year after when Wilmington comes in. I'll enjoy seeing Massie, East Clinton and eventually Wilmington ranked.

The SHL has 80% SED so I guess by that by-law you would have to include Ripley and Fayetteville. Sounds like you might need to make up some new by-laws. lol
