Anyone have any thoughts on this ballgame?
Huntington won at home, 43-42.
Should be a great ballgame and should have a great atmosphere. JV game starts at 6:00.

If Unioto gets a win, it pretty much seals the SVC Championship for them, with PV and Piketon next week. But, a Huntington win will just make the target even bigger on their backs. They have Adena and Zane Trace next week still to finish out the SVC season.
If Shiann Ray is able to play for Unioto, it will be a huge pick me up, but if she's out, they will all have to step up their games for a victory. Huntington features 2-time(soon to be 3) SVC POY Lydia Bridenbaugh.

The Game will also be featured on 94.3, WKKJ out of Chillicothe. Tom Beard and "The Voice of the SVC" Mike Smith do an outstanding job calling the action.
Both schools are cancelled today, but nothing about the game has been stated. Hopefully they wait it out, because it is supposed to clear up by the afternoon.

Seriously, no talk at all on this game?
Well, both teams are 16-1 and 10-1 in the league, so the league title will most likely be up for grabs in this ballgame.
Shiann Ray did play on Saturday, so she'll be back, but will Savannah Fouty and Taylor Corcoran be out for the Shermans too? I believe both were injured against North Adams on Saturday.

Huntington beat Unioto by 1, at Huntington. Unioto was up 8 with 2 minutes left and a couple of mistakes and HHS going 3-3 on 3's were the difference.
Unioto 50
Huntington 38
Tonight, the Shermans completly dominated the 1st and 3rd quarters, played even in the 2nd and played keep away in the 4th for an easy win. The big freshman, Arledge was in foul trouble the whole 2nd half and it probably would've been even uglier if she had been able to play. Shiann Ray showed why she should be the SVC POY, she was all over the court and took the game over early, then a couple of her teammates(Cottrell and Driggs) had big 3rds.
Kudos should be given out to Janelle Hougland, Chloe Cottrell, and Taylor Corcoran for their defense on Lydia Bridenbaugh and Jessica Fraley.
Unioto moves to 17-1 and 11-1 in the SVC with only Paint Valley(Thurs.) and @Piketon(Sat.) left in the regular season. Huntington drops to 16-2 and 10-2 in the SVC, with Adena and Zane Trace left in their regular season.
