Africentric wasn't anywhere near as good as I thought they were going to be at the Classic in the Country.

But I must say that after watching Waterford play that their bench isn't very deep. I mean if some of the starting 5 gets hurt or gets into foul trouble they could be in trouble. Some of the younger guards just aren't ready for "In Your Face" type ball

Congratulations to the Lady Cats on thier victory over Lucas Valley tonight at Jackson 77-43 to run their record to 20-2. The Lady Cats play the winner of the Leesburg Fairland and Beaver Eastern game next thursday night at Jackson.

What a great job by Coaches and their Lady Wildcats. Awesome performance. Everyone contributed in this win and that is a very important factor when you get to tournament time. Great effort and intensity. You girls are very fun to watch. Good Luck next week.

OK Lady Cats lets get number 21 thursday night against Leesburg Fairland. I hope the Leesburg Fairland team has better fan support from their fans than the Lady Cats last opponent. The Waterford Wildcats have always had excellant fan suppport even in the lean years. It's so dissappointing to see teams that don't seem to have that support. The GREEN & WHITE faithful will be there in full force as usual.

This is a big day for D-IV girls bb. There is no less than 18 games today that will shape the tournament field, eight of which are in the AP poll. In the Cal Preps D-IV, 15 of the 18 are in the top 25 rankings.

AP #3/CP #10 Stryker plays CP #25 Kalida, AP#4/CP#5 Luthern East plays CP#69 Cuyahoga Heights, AP#5/CP#7 Fosteria St. Wendelin plays CP#29 Pandora-Gilboa, AP#6/CP#16 East Canton plays CP#74 Dalton, AP#8/CP#3 Delphos St. Johns plays CP#13 Minister, AP#9/CP#59 McDonald plays CP#105 Lordstown, AP#11/CP#4 Waterford Lady Cats plays CP#86 Leesburg Fairland, AP#12/CP#19 New Reigel plays CP#108 Toledo Christian. This could be an interesting day. Guess we will see what happens.

The Lady Cats will play at Pickerington North on Feb 28 at 8pm against the winner of tomorrow's game between Canal Winchester World Harvest and Lancaster Fisher Catholic.

The winner of this match-up will play on March 1 at 7:30 at Pickerington North.

Waterford could conceivable play the Jeeps if . . . the Jeeps won tonight against New Boston (still haven't heard) and then the Jeeps beat the winner of tomorrow's game between Cols Africentric and Morral Ridgedale.

As a tried and true green-bleeding Lady Cat fan, I'd love to see the Regional Champ be from Southern Ohio!!! And a match-up between the Jeeps and Cats would be awesome!!!
