Logan girls basketball 1000 point scorers

I did A LOT of research for 1000 point scorers in SE Ohio Girls BB a few years ago and this is what I have for Logan after calling and speaking with all the players/or parents. I figured with Harris close to hitting the mark, maybe we could fill in some of the holes.

1. Katie Smith, 2740
2. Tez Kraft, 1404
3. Ivy Oertman, 1272
4. Abbey Jennings, 1057 (3 years)
5. Melissa Cooper ????
6. Tami Hampshire ????
FYI Hampshire, Kraft and Cooper share the honor of the only three players is OHSAA history besides a team from Upper Scioto to have three players on the same team score 1000 points each. *Jim Myers

7. Katie McBroom ????
8. Jera Bolen ????
9. Tara Rutherford ????

These are all of the 1000 point scorers I have that I know scored at least 1000 but I dont have their amounts. Nikki Tucker was close but she ended her career with 850.

I honestly believe Katie could've got 1,000 in one year if she would've been put into that type of situation.....with Kraft and Cooper, that's not real fair!

Man they were fun to watch!

Did McBroom or Tucker play in college...or did they play softball in college?

McBroom played hoops and softball at Tiffin and Tucker went to Shawnee State I think to play basketball.

Someone put this up last year with all the point totals --can't remember who put it up. Might have been LoganLoco or late70sgrad

Harris should be at 956

And I didnt have their totals then! :lol:

I have the top 50 scorers in SE Ohio for girls basketball of at least 1000 points as of Dec 25th 2006, so it could be updated for sure. Once I stopped broadcasting games, I quit trying to update it.

I believe Harris is now up to 986, after the Chillicothe game. Could be off one way or the other by a few points.
