The article stated that she didn't realize she'd passed the 1000 point mark until 2 games later. Does that mean the accomplishment wasn't acknowledged when it happened? I wonder how that happened.

Thats right. We were told right before the Jackson game started. We knew she was close but did not know the actual total at the time. I guess it just slipped their minds :roll:
