Fall Basketball League
The Wellston Lady Rockets will be hosting there 3rd annual fall league. The cost is $80.00 per girl and games will be played on Sundays starting September 7th through October 12th, 2014. Each team will be guaranteed a total of 12 games. Girls in grades 9-12 are eligible. Teams will be limited to 8 players per team (only 2 players from same school district) and each team will play a minimum of at least 2 games a day. License officials will be on site to officiate all games with a score keeper. Players will receive a Jersey. Games will be played at Wellston High School and Middle School gymnasiums. Just finished the fall league. This was our first time there and just wanted to post and say that it was a really good experience for our girls. Coach Sturgill is an excellent host and coach. My girls aren't from wellston and he coached them as if they were. He really helped my girls understand what it takes to play at the next level and they really appreciated him. Thanks again Coach Sturgill.
