Very awesome to have three teams from the Southeast District at state! Congratulations and best of luck to all three!

A outstanding job by the Wildcats of Waterford, yes they won the state last year, but they had to replace 4 starters and 2 of them were 1000 point scorers. They were replaced within the program, no transfers. Not bad for a school that graduates about 40 to 45 students per year. They have built an awesome program. Good luck at state!

I wonder when the last time the SE district sent 3 girls teams to the state final fours.

I was impressed with what Waterford has done, didn't expect them to make it back after losing so much. They play some solid defense, which if you look at all 3 teams from SE District One Common Philosphy? DEFENSE, all three are really good defensive teams.

Another bit of information, Eastern Brown has scrimmaged both of these teams in the Pre season, lol..

Seeing online that no one gives Eastern Brown a shot to win, but then of course they got no AP love all year, beat a team that still got AP love after the EB wins. I think that any team that plays solid Team defense can win even at this level. All 3 of our area teams play Defense.
Good luck to the Ladies of all 3 teams!!! Show em that we maybe from Southern Ohio, we can still ball out..

I worry the team from the MAC Conference is going to be too much.
