What are everyone's thoughts on this 1000 pt recognition. I think it is a good thing but I think this can cause a problem in playing team ball. I know there have been a lot of 1,000 pt achievers that are team players, but I am seeing some that are just all about shooting and and trying to hit it and taking away the team concept. This is all across the board not specific.

Better than Logan's Katie Smith??
national Gatorade National Player of the Year her HS senior season.
Scored 2500+ points at Ohio State
14 year WNBA career

------
Now let's steer this back on topic..... 1000pt scorers for the 2017-18 season.

well uh, i probably could have scored 5001 points in high school, and probably would just skip college, probably skip going pro too, just go straight to the hall of fame....i dont know who that girl is but i am sure she is great, i just seen an opportunity for a good joke. reminds me of a SNL character, i forget her name, but in all her skits no matter what anyone accomplishes, she says she done it just a tiny bit better lol

Huntington's Braiden Collins, a junior, will have a shot at it this year. Scored over 500 points last year and is off to another fast start. It would come late in the season or in the tournament if it were to happen this year though.

She's special. If she hadn't played with a 1300 point scorer for 3 years, she'd probably be pushing the 2500+ mark.

I'm not saying she isn't great, because I'm sure she is, I've never seen her play. But, that is also your opinion that she is the best ever. I doubt anyone else would say that though, ever heard of someone named Katie Smith? National Player of the Year.
