Before the season, I would've picked Unioto to win this game, and the league. Now, I'm not so sure. I expected SE to be pretty good, but they've been better than I thought they would. If the Panthers supporting cast shows up, they could very well win the game.

I watched skeens out score the third place team by herself yesterday. 25-13 in a half and up 31-28 when she and the others starters went to the bench a minute into the 4 th up over 20. If she does her thing and the others continue to knock down some shots, rebound, and stay out of foul trouble this could be a good game but after seeing the preview matchup I just don’t know if Southeastern has enough. Could be a coin toss. Advantage Unioto.

What a fun game to watch! Skeens is such a nice player. SE dominated this one.

Very impressive showing by all of the Panthers! Skeens is obviously phenomenal, but her teammates are no pushovers.

Unioto will regroup and I believe that it will be a much more competitive game the 2nd time around, but this one was never in doubt.

After watching the way Unioto handled Southeastern in the preview by 30 W/O Skeens I would have never imagined this outcome. Thought the Shermans would definitely have the advantage but it sounded like Skeens did her thing and the others stepped up. Congratulation to the Panther players and coaches on the win.

Great atmosphere, and huge win for SE! Unioto was unsettled by SE's size and strength, and didn't seem conditioned to keep up with SE running the court. Also, I don't know if you want to call it arrogance or bad coaching, but trying to check Ella one-on-one with one of your best players is a bad idea. Cottrill was in early foul trouble, and I think that hurt Unioto a lot, especially in that 2nd quarter. Nobody in this league can matchup with Skeens straight up. Adjustments were made to trap, double, and triple team Skeens in the 2nd half, which actually helped contain her. Against SE, you have to throw everything you have at Skeens, and make the other 4 players on the court beat you. SE does have depth issues, which can hurt them badly when they get in foul trouble or have an injury. Unioto is talented, 2-5 more talented than SE, but SE played better as a team. I wouldn't count the Shermans out though, that's gonna be a good one to end the year.

Good win for SE , they matched the physicality of the game and to me just seemed a lot faster than the Shermans, especially Skeens. I respect the fact they tried to play her straight up for about a quarter. But gave many different defensive looks througout the game. She had 13 in the first and 12 in the 2nd. The rest of the team played really well. Hitting open shots and made them pay when they got their opportunities. Overall a good win and a little better than I expected . should be a good game the next round. On to the next.
