Lol, clearly 10 years before Waterford became a girls basketball power they had the foresight to know they’d need to change districts to avoid a team that hadn’t won a district yet with their future 600-win coach. Magic 8-ball and all.

I'd rather Fort Frye was in the Southeast District too. Game sites are usually much closer. Half the time, we're going to Steubenville or New Philly for district games.

Yea but now they get first 2 sectional games at home. Waterford is heading to Meigs. District sites are now like football and are not decided until district teams are qualified. This way you don’t have Fort Frye vs Shenandoah in Steubenville.

My lady Hawks will be a very good team for the next 5 years ,8th grade team has not lost a game for last two years, the reserve team is still Undefeated, coach does graduate his daughter and a very good shooting guard this year, but we do have two very good freshman point guards waiting in the wings
