I am an announcer at a school that is about to have a young lady hit 1000 career points.... What is announced when the player hits the 1000th point?

Is there a script or something that is normally announced when the feat is hit?

Before the game tell refs and other coach a player is close to a 1000 and have the timer hit the horn and just announce that she has reach 1000 with her parents and coach at half court take a picture with the ball is a nice way to do it Also do it when a visiting team player does it. Shows lots of class

Have them check 2 game balls in if they intend on giving the player the game ball.
