Sounds like a game where Peebles controlled tempo . I know ND would probably want it in the 60's or 70's . Rough loss , I doubt another 6'4 player like Detwiller comes thru in a long time . The cupboard sure isn't bare as they return a bunch but the big girl in the paint sure was a difference maker .

No doubt...ND will still be tough next few years and capable of getting back to Regionals. But with a 6’4” D1 kid, this may have been their best chance to get to State (especially with Waterford and Reedsville Eastern down). Great season regardless.

Congrats to Peebles on the win. Looking at thread above, not too many people gave them much of a chance. Hoopie74 one of best posters on here, so happy for him. Good luck to Peebles Saturday night*

Lilly Gray for Peebles had an awesome week. State champ in indoor state championships, an awesome week on the hardwoods,this Sophmore is no one to forget. Also all state soccer. She is awesome as well as all the other teammates. Coach Arey daughter Tatum Arey is now learning that she is a great young player and is believing in herself. 3 in double figures and playing defense. 7 players scoring . That was a TEAM. Game.

Thanks! It's been a learning season for these girls. All are fighters. I count them out of nothing. There are some track stars on this team as well. All but two will be back for quit a few years. There is some awesome talent coming up . There is a Six footer who is learning the game well coming up as well as a Player in Jr high that may end up being one of our best ever. Future is bright but we aren't done yet. One game at a time. #homegrowntalent

Couldn’t agree with you more. You don’t see homegrown talent much anymore. Most teams have players who have moved in from other schools. Not this team, these kids have been here since day 1. Go Indians!

Looks like Peebles plays Shadyside Saturday at Pickering ton north at 7:00 I believe. Shadyside won 50-48 I think was the final.
