What difference does it make when they joined.....oh wait, you was never a first time poster 😂

You are the one on the first page saying you heard it from a very reliable source that one of the teachers highs was escorted out of a game and put her hands on a ref!

I see two loyal trojan fans that was at that game proved you and another guy wrong, better get better sources or maybe just stop spreading hate?

I did see game film and like posted above the Ga girl initiated the whole thing, the Portsmouth girl has to learn from it but as a Jr high kid ,this happens more then you think.

Why no mention of the other kid initiating and talking the entire game? It's on vedio too?

🤔 🧐

Move on I'm done, can't believe trolls ,go back to the fairland threads

You must be her family member. No other reasonable person would condone her actions. No way! Others have posted on here how bad it was too. Gallia should have pulled their team off the court.

Portsmouth will finish second for the next several years behind Fairland. The OVC is one the weakest conferences in the District. Third place is not great. Rock Hill is second with 6 girls on the varsity roster. I’m sorry but you can’t win by playing street ball. I watched Portsmouth several times. It was on one one play. On defense I saw biddy ball teams play better defense than Portsmouth Varsity. I can’t believe a X- D-1 player and one of the best high school player in our area can’t get an offense and defense together. Don’t say they are young because majority of the teams in the area are young. A true coach won’t let the junior high accident happen Period. The Head coach is the CEO of all the coaches and players. Good luck to the players. A lot of talent

Hopefully you don't look as stupid as you sound here.
Portsmouth lost 3 or 4 games to good teams, two of them games was to fairland who is probably good enough to win the state in any division, and Fairland is in Division 2 Portsmouth is D3 so who cares about a league title surely that's not the ultimate goal.
To say Portsmouth plays not Defense is stupid, they have won how many games with no Defense?

If you dislike the team why have you watched several times lol 🤣. ....

Ohio State is looking at an 8th grader.

Freshman on varsity getting D1 looks from a few schools including Virginia, and Dayton is the Kelly girl, I would be very surprised if the Reid girl doesn't go D1 ,she is a sophomore, the sophomore Cantrell 6,3 so I'm sure she will draw some interest.

The 8th grade team has a lot of talent, best Burg Monday ,47 to 2 so next year is the year I look for a good run for the varsity.

They still have work to do and you still have to perform on the court , but at least things are looking up for the girls program at portsmouth
Think you meant Allen not Kelly lol. She’s a really good player for a freshman. Offers from Dayton & Richmond so far. I believe Hayven Carter is the 8th grader with offers from Ohio State, Arkansas and maybe a few others. Lady Trojans should be really good for the next several years.
Illegal to get offers before August 1 of junior year watch what you say could possibly cause her problems with ohsaa

https://www.ncsasports.org/recruiting/h ... hip-offers

NCAA Rules Update: New rules passed by the NCAA in 2017, 2018 and most recently 2019 have made it illegal for college coaches to offer scholarships to recruits before August 1 or September 1 of their junior year. These new rules apply to all sports except football, W/M basketball and baseball.

Did they really get offers? Or did a coach from the said universities say, " we would love for you to play at _____________ !" Just asking, because many times conversations and offers are two completely different things. I am sure the Coaches for the Said Universities know the rules and know exactly what they can or cannot say.

From what I read, early offers are just verbal. Nothing is signed, so probably a coach just saying hey, we'd like you at _____ school, we will save a scholarship for you or something along those lines.

I have no reason to watch what I say. If they didn’t want it to be known then maybe they shouldn’t put it on social media. I’ve seen it on Twitter, Facebook, here. From the their own accounts, family accounts, even their AAU team. It’s out there, I’m sure I’m not going to be the cause for any problems. I doubt the OHSAA are going to come looking for my specific post on SEOP first. Lol

No idea if the offers are just verbal, a promise, a lie or whatever. Just going by what I’ve seen online. I do know both players are quite good, and fun to watch.

I don't think there's any question that there will be quite a few offers for a number of girls within the time frame listed above. There's a lot of talent in the Portsmouth girls program, but it will be a year or two before that talent really begins to pay big dividends as far as challenging for the OVC title and making the Final 4. Two straight undefeated JH seasons in the OVC, a varsity team with everyone back next year with the incoming freshmen.....all signs point to some exciting times coming for PHS girls basketball.

Portsmouth 55, Meigs 53.......the Lady Trojans survived a potential game winning 3 point shot by the Marauders at the buzzer to win their 1st sectional since 2005. Congratulations to the Lady Trojans and Coaches Amy and Mike Hughes on the win! They advance to the district semifinal on Wednesday at Valley HS against Frankfort Adena. Daysha Reid had a big 1st half offensively, while Sienna Allen took charge after halftime. The Trojans will have to step up their game to beat the Warriors.

A salute to the Lady Marauders on being a very tough opponent.

Congratulations on the sectional win, great game to watch and while we struggled at times the girls never quit , the coaches done a good job at keeping the girls into the game.
