Pretty quiet on this game. No one giving Burg a chance in this one maybe??? I guess that's why they play the game. Burg girls will not be happy with just being there. They will compete and play hard until the very end.

From some clips I found on MaxPreps, it looks like the Nubians will want to play pressure defense and speed up the tempo and create turnovers, but their last couple games have been low scoring (for them). As long as Burg can take care of the ball and minimize their turnovers, I think they can be in the game at the end.

Maybe Burg can put a press on them. Sometimes teams that press don't like to be pressed and it throws off there game. Dusty will have them ready

Africentric has good overall length and athleticism. BURG is gonna have to value the ball and score without dribbling. Good luck lady pirates in the final 4. Go BURG.

The Lady Pirates will have to be disciplined in their offensive approach to breaking pressure, they will need to only take layups and inside out 3s, quick shots is exactly what Africentric wants you to do, an open shot against the press isn't always a good shot. That three pointer they hit late vs. West was great...only because it went in, but that's just basketball. Good Luck Ladies!

BURG down 14 at the half. Looks like all of BURG showed up for the game tho. Good crowd.

SE district has won the State numerous times over the years (Waterford and Eastern) but when is the last time a D2 or D3 program has?

Sadly, I don't ever see a D2 or D3 school winning state from the SE district anytime soon. Reason, CB has knocked a lot of these Basketball Schools into their division and nobody will be able to compete. Afrecentric should be competing no lower than d2 but I honestly think D1 !

Africentric beat Waterford like 4 or 5 times in a row at the regional level when they was division 4. Who knows how many titles Waterford would have if Africentric were forced to play in division 1 or 2
