I've yet to hear what the straight red was entirely for but it sounded like the kid was gonna be given a yellow and had some words for the official and they went straight red instead . On Athens TV of the game the Athens player obviously got hit in the chest. The officials got together and then walked over and gave him a red card. The ball was going in the goal and the kid intentionally hit it with his hand. That's a straight red.
