I spoke with one of the coaches best friends today about the game. She said that the only reason he was left to score the 7th was because his coach had the previous goal record(single game) and taking him out to keep him from it wouldn’t have been right...it is what it is, it was an 8 goal game and as you know with coach Keeney and his assistants they have had the chance the past year or so to really run up the scores on teams and have always pulled guys after 6-7 and played the JV squad, sometimes before the first half even ends...Both coaches are good friends so it wasn’t anything personal either...I’m sure this wasn’t easy for northwest as coaches to let happen
