2 Local Players competing in Regional Play this weekend

Would like to take a minute and wish Drew Basil of Chillicothe and Dillan Lewis of Wheelersburg best of luck at the Regionals this weekend. Both players play on teams that have earned the right to advance to USSL Regional Competition in Rockford, IL.

Drew plays on Metro Rapids FC U16's out of Dayton, OH. Drews team were Semi Finalist in the U16 State Cup Division of Ohio. They placed 2nd in the Midwest Regional League against some very tough competition to advance to Regionals. Best of Luck Drew.

Dillan plays for Blast FC U15's out of Columbus, OH. Dillan's team is a 4 time State Cup Champion and 1 time Semi Finalist. The are currently 2008 State Cup Champions and won the right to a trip to the Regionals by winning this title. They also play in the Midwest Regional League and placed 2nd in their division. Best of luck Dillan.

They both will play games on Sat, Sun, and Mon. hopefully to advance to the Semi finals on Tues and Finals on Wed. One winner of each age division will advance to the Nationals in Arkansas in July. Go Bring Southern Ohio home a Regional Championship.
