True, just thought it was nice to see a SE District team in the poll for the 1st time in 2008.

soccerfix- I agree with your 1st post, but I really don't blame the coaches for not giving the SE much respect.

Name the SE teams who have made it to the final four: I can name two.

Lucasville Valley(lost 7-2 in the State Semi's)
Unioto(lost 3-1 in the State Semi's)

No team has ever reached the final and only two have even reached the final four. Zane Trace and Athens have recently reached the Regional Finals, but both got blasted once they reached that level. What we need is for a team to reach the finals and/or someone beat a team like Worthington Christian or DeSales. Until then, we'll probably never get anyone ranked higher than Unioto's #5 in 2002.

To play with the northern schools we in the South MUST get away from playing the style of soccer that died 10 plus years ago. We have the talent. We just need to free our minds.
