clay with a win. west struggling with midfield and keeper. match up with valentine and middleton should be good. they are both nice players. both play hard.

Clay 6 - West 1

Clay has been playing hard and are coming off a tough set of games with SW, Waverly, Whbg and Minford.

If Clay can put someone on Wests #4 blond kid then they should be able to come out with a win. I watched that kid in the previews and he could really move the ball. Good Luck to both teams! The way it looks...It might be a wet ball game.

Ryan Middleton is #5, not #4.

Funny funny wolf. Clay will put more than just 1 on the board.

If the west kids can keep from pointing fingers at each other and arguing they can play good. They need better discipline from the coach.

Clay 1
West 0

If the score is only 1 - 0 then Clay had problems. Rain falling and the harder stuff is on the way. Clay likes to take long shots with some power on them, I'll stay with 6- 1 Clay, even in th rain.

Clay 3
West 0

Two of West's starters went out of the game with injuries and stayed out. They were mainly playing with subs tonight.

Clay out shot West about 28 to 5. West's goalie made 18 saves and really kept this game close, he did a great job taking on some point blank shots. West defense also managed to get in front of several shots. Clay's first two goals came from long shots from Jon Valentine and the first half was 2 - 0. The third goal came on a cross pass from Valentine to Eli Kelly. Got to give West players credit, especially the girls, they fought hard for every ball and even recieved two yellow cards for pushing. They never gave up. Good luck to them in the remainder of the season. I hope West's #5 isn't hurt too bad (Ryan Middleton?). He broke his ankle at last years Clay vs West game. Looked like he strained a knee or ankle tonight.

Hopefully he makes it back before the season is over. He is a very good player. Also I would be remiss if I didn't mention what a great job the officiating crew did. It's always a sigh of relief to see Mr Romanello and his son? show up to ref a game. They could give a clinic on how to keep the game flowing.

He dislocated his knee and is done for the season. West has lost 3 starters in the last two games.
