I do not know all the teams... Chilli, Beaver Eastern, Greenfield, Circleville will be there. But I do know Unioto will win it because they are playing on their "magic floor"!

This is a great kept secret, we will not know till the busses show up.
Kind of like Christmas morning with the presents and all.
And just like Christmas we will get some items on our wish list
And others will be..........
Well I guess the thought is what matters
Here is the X's list
Unioto
Chillicothe
Circleville
Washington CH
Eastern
Carrol
Portsmouth
Webster

Well it's obvious who is on the Christmas card list
And who is not.............
That's ok the X Is use to lumps of coal.

What's the scouting report on the teams coming?

Eastern always seems tuff, but I think they lost a lot to graduation.

Court House had an abundant amount of girls
on the D2 All-Distict team last season
Do they return most of them?
If so they should be heavily favored.

It sounds like Circleville will be bringing the best team they
Have had in many a year.

Don't know a thing about Portsmouth or Gallia

Webster, I think their mascot is the Jeep.
Is that the CJ7 or Wrangler model?

It sounds like the Cavs are playing better ball
Than the last time we seen them.
Has the Bettendorf girl been moved up to varsity yet?

Bring your hoodies,
It can get a bit frigid inside camp Sherman.

My final four:

Beaver Eastern vs Circleville
Unioto vs Wash CH

I heard they are cleaning the High School gym (magic) floor with a zamboni

Jeep CJ5 (Levis Edition) was the best!! (first car) :-D

Results from the "Meat Locker"
1st Unioto
2nd Circleville
3rd Eastern
4th Washington Court House
5th Gallia Academy
6th Chillicothe
7th South Webster
8th Portsmouth West

Unioto was on cruise control in all three matches, Portsmouth West, Washington Court House & Circleville.

Circleville was the big surprise of the tournament they have came along way from last year.

Both Eastern and Court House are down in talent from where they were last season.

Gallia lost a close one to Court House in round one then went on to clean sweep the lower bracket of play.

Chillicothe started out rough but their play improved the last two match-ups

South Webster- didn't get to see any of their play.

Portsmouth drew the short straw and had to face a Buzz Saw right out of the gates.
Was competitive in their match vs Gallia, due to some bracket layout confusion left early before playing in the lower bracket consolation game.

Got to the tourney late but got to see all but S. Webster and P West play. A quick yet not thorough reveiw:
Unioto- like a good " meat loaf from the meat locker " a little soft in the middle but well done the rest of the way around. Quick, court savvy, and never let up attitude they will have a great season.
Circleville- much needed infusion of spirit and skill from the " Old coach " and i bet they are glad she is back. Look for alot of noise if she stays!
Eastern- looked like a team in transition to me from the reign of Queen Janet. Not as fast as her teams and a overzealous dad/fan is a distraction to all Calm down dude, its not the olympics, your daughter should have good memories....just sayin.
Wash CH- Great program team with limited athletic ability this year, but look out under classes are STRONG!
Gallia- Somewhat of a surprise to me with new coach again, 3rd coach in 4 years i think. Played with alot of spirit and had young team so will be good in future.
Chiili- New lineup was making noise. Improving daily i think. New coach is figuring it out and making it happen.
S. Webster and P West i did not see so no comment.
As always a good tourney and a shout out to the referee crew as these are some of the better ones you will see in SE Ohio.

Are we talking about the entree
Or
The mid 70's Mega Rock Star?

The Rock Star makes more sense to me
Very Tall with good bone structure
Yes he is burnt a little
And has a soft middle
But man could he belt the tunes:

Bat out of Hell- could describe the Sherman's attacking style of offense

All Revved Up with No Place to go- how the opponents feel when they want to attack the U's middle

Paradise by the Dash Board Lights- I call it "Paradise by the Score Board Lights"

For Crying Out Loud- yep when we see the face shots being dished out on a set-ly basis.

Two Out of Three- The Sherman's have not needed the Three any this season.

Meatloaf?? A 70's rock "mega" star?? More like a mega sweaty, mega fat clown that was a boil on the butt of rock and roll!

I think more appropriately would be the tunes of Blue Oyster Cult, that iconic 70's band....

Godzilla -- The middles are picking up hits and throwing it back down as they wade thru the players of the other team
Don't Fear the Reaper -- Pregame speech of the opposing coaches

I would go on but I'm still trying to get over the fact that Raspberry Beret is your all time favorite Prince tune....
