Season begins today 8-16-14 for many including my Cavaliers at the Lancaster / Fairfield Union tri-match. Post any results please. Go Cavs!

Cavaliers go down twice at Lancaster. Lost to Fairfield Union 20-25 and 19-25 then lost to Lancaster 9-25 and 21-25. Tough start for the Cavaliers but Coach Tracey had them playing at a competitive level aside from the one set vs Lancaster. Two good teams in D1 Lancaster and D2 FU with solid programs that fared well last season. Not sure how many they both returned in lineups. Chilli has Waverly and Unioto next weekend at home. The meat of their schedule is these first four opponents as league play will be not as strong. Looking optimistically i say Cavs will be all the better coming out after the first four matchs due to strength of schedule. Look for them to be playing well come the 1st week of September. This is a young team in terms of varsity experience and will get better. Go Cavs!
