What happened to the previous one? Was that the one that took them to regional finals a few years ago?

Yes that's the one! She officially retired at the end of the 2013 season. Been a lot of rumors floating around but nothing concrete.

Yes Janet Day retired after 19 years. Dominating (I mean ridiculously dominating) her league, a final four, many regional appearances, and quite a few of her players playing at the next level the new coach will have some gigantic shoes to fill! A class act and a class program....the game of volleyball in southern Ohio will miss Janet's influence on the game! That being said, April Davis-Roberts is the new Varsity coach.

DITTO,
ONE OF THE BEST EVER IN SE OHIO. Definitly should be a candidate for coaches HOF. Great person, program and yes bigg shoes to fill. Her teams were always competitive, humble, and respectfull of opponent, referees, fans, and they just kept winning and winning and winning. Congrats on a great career Janet from your buddie at Chilli. Enjoy retirement and those grandkid(s) you raised the bar in SE Ohio.
