If he's a freshman I would guess he's playing JV but he could be on the Varsity roster. I will look into it.

Yep he went to BU bc his Travel ball coach is on the staff there so it makes sense to me. He's obviously spent a lot of time with the guy so he wanted to continue to learn from him.

Was the Logan-Adena game an official game?
Seems that Adena thinks it is suspended, but if they played 4 1/2 innings with Logan in the lead. That game is over.

The game is over per the OHSAA. It was played all the way to the 6th before the rain but one of the umps insisted it had to be finished at a later date when obviously it had gone far enough to be considered a complete game. The game is over. It went back to the end of the 5th when Logan was leading 6-0.

So what would happen if Adena would have taken a lead in the top of the 6th and the rain hit in the bottom half? Would it go back to the 5th inning or would the game be suspended? That would be a crappy way to lose.

Logan would of lost then is my guess. Yes it would of gone back to the 5th and been decided there.

Logan defeats Jackson again 1-0 on Wednesday. Another great building block win for the Chiefs.

Logan defeated Alexander last Friday 8-4 to move to 11-6 on the season. This is the best Logan baseball season in 10 years at least. Logan was scheduled to play at Marietta Saturday but they were rained out and Today they are set to host Belpre weather permitting. The Chiefs will travel to 9-11 Central Crossing for their opening round game in the D1 baseball tournament as well.

Logan defeated DIVISION ONE Groveport Madison today 1-0 and lost to Johnstown Monroe 11-7 to finish the season 13-8. They play the opening round of the tournament Monday night at Central Crossing. All in all this is the finest Logan baseball season in many years. They have a ton of promise and the program is heading in the right direction. Solid pitching and the belief that this TEAM can win I think has been the difference. Hats off to coach Sutton for the job he's doing.

Logan led 3-0 but several key errors in the 4th and the wheels fell off the bus. Logan dropped a tough game 8-3. Logan finishes the season 13-8. First time since 2005 Logan has won more than 10 games in a season. First winning record in so long I forget. Cant say enough about the kids and the staff for this season. They are starting to believe they can win games each and every night no matter who it is. This is a great building block for the future. Coach Sutton deserves a COY nod from the area without a doubt.

Really good season and something to build on . Same results in Central District is a bummer . Logan is still a D2 locked in a D1 body . What' s the answer? Chieftain Nation should be proud of the turn around ! Go Chiefs!!!!

Good turn around so for next year step up to mostly DII and a few D-I schools like Lancaster, Groveport along with Athens and Chillicothe. Again, good job this year now take the next STEP!
