That would be Grant Gregory but I don't know if I would include him in this group. Great athlete though....

Chris Hewitt - Athens
Luke Haislop -Gallia Academy - ???
( ) Welch - Warren - Mariettta College
Austin King - Gallia Academy - Jackson State
Jared Humphreys - Jackson - (???)

I def agree GW Gregory was a tremendous athlete but a much better football player!

*2006 Cody Welch (3b) - ?

*2005 Josh Beebe (cf) - Marietta college

These players are playing at the next level or have played at the next level or could have easily done so. Warren will also have two more possibly playing college ball after the 2008 season. Daniel Wagner (p/ss) and Cory Hooper (cf).

So SEOAL BEST from 2003-2008.

ATHENS-
Corey Champlin '03
Chris Hewitt '04
Grant Gregory '04
Ben Chleboun '05
Phillip Hewitt '05
Chris Pitts '05
(Not Ava.) '06-'07

JACKSON-
Justin Ocheinban (sp?) '04
Jared Humphreys '05
Ben Jordan '06

LOGAN-
Gage Mellor '03
Cody Disbennet '04

WARREN-(had a bunch, need help with names here Warren Ppl)
SS - '04 was MVP right?
I can't think back to the others position/names. Fill in.

MARIETTA-(again, probably 4 here but the names have escaped me.)
Fill In

GALIA- Maybe one or two that would make a TOP TEAM from '03-'08. Def. stronger in football.

*WILL BE ADDING TO THIS LIST*

questionmark,

I can recall some pretty good players from the Marietta Tigers over the last few years.

2007- Corey Kriechbaum (ss)
2006- Nate Eschbaugh (if/p)
200 - Ryan Eschbaugh (if/p)
200 - DJ Chidester (c/if/of)
200 - Ryan Boone (p)
200 - Benjamin Hurt (p)

I'm not real positive on the graduation year for some of these guys but, they were very good on the diamond.

Yea Clover,

I remember the Escbaugh and Boone names.
I know I probably could remember their faces back in the day...

But your Correct, Marietta Def. had some outstanding players in the league the past 5 years...that's not a question.

Ryan E. I believe was 2002, D.J. was 2004, Boone was 2005. I think these are correct. I don't remember Hurt's grad year.

I have had the privaledge of watching Warren High School baseball for the past few years. The Warriors have been loaded with:
2007--Tyler Wynn, Garrett Proctor and Ethan Bonnette
2006--Alex Barth and Cody Welch
2005--Josh Beebe
2004--Zach Welch and Justin Eichinger

Some players from other schools that have been impressive are:
Marietta--Ryan & Nate Eschbaugh and Cory Kriechbaum

Gallia--Austin King
Zanesville--Cory Swope and Alex Cultice
